Goodbye Charlton 1923-2008

Planet of the Apes is my favorite movie and Charlton Heston was the man (because...he wasn't an ape). In honor of his passing here's March of the Apes by Leonard Rosenman from Beneath the Planet of the Apes. The song borrows from Jerry Goldsmith's score for the first Planet of the Apes but puts it in a rock context – very cool. Charlton may have had a small part in the second Ape movie but he gets to blow up the world – also cool.

Spending alot of time in your basement with pictures of Charlton Heston lately?

Seriously though - keep it up because this is some entertaining shit and I am way too lazy to search for any of it myself
