Last day of "Six Degrees of Will Oldham Week!"

At the beginning of the week I mentioned that Will Oldham performed and recorded under various permutations of the Palace name, including Palace Brothers, Palace Songs, and Palace Music (1993-1997). During this time Will Oldham wouldn't rehearse his musicians. He'd choose the players shortly before the session so the music was always spontaneous, on the verge of falling apart – thus creating moments of greatness you couldn't rehearse.
