Tortoise

Day three of "Six Degrees of Will Oldham Week!"

I mentioned Tortoise in yesterday's post about David Pajo (Tortoise's guitar player for two albums). Tortoise is a instrumental post-rock band with jazz, Krautrock, dub, minimalism, electronica, and rock influences. Their connection to Will Oldham is an album of covers they recorded with Bonnie 'Prince' Billy (Will's alter-ego) entitled The Brave and the Bold.
